Why did my investment increase by a small amount?

Many of the funds available through FundersClub make their investments in startups through convertible notes. These convertible notes are debt instruments that accrue interest, and typically at a relatively low interest rate. These relatively small increases in value are due to the interest accrued on your portion of the convertible note. To read more about convertible notes, please visit our Education Center. A small increase in value of a fund should not be interpreted as a judgment that the business plan of the startup is succeeding or failing.
